Nonograms, also known as Paint by Numbers, Picross, Griddlers, Pic-a-Pix, Hanjie, and various other names, are logic puzzles where players must fill in cells in a grid to reveal a hidden picture based on numerical clues.

Rule
In a Nonogram puzzle, the numbers indicate the quantity of filled squares in each row or column. For instance, a clue like "4 8 3" would signify sequences of four, eight, and three filled squares respectively, with at least one empty square between consecutive sets.

When tackling simpler puzzles, focusing on a single row or column at a time is typically sufficient to deduce the placement of boxes and spaces. Progressing methodically through each row or column until all cells are determined aids in puzzle completion.
In more challenging puzzles, employing various "what if?" scenarios involving multiple rows or columns may be necessary. This method involves identifying contradictions: If placing a box in a certain cell leads to an error elsewhere, that cell must be empty and vice versa. Skilled solvers may delve deeper into these logical deductions, though significant time investment is often required for notable progress.
